EDM Services engineered the pipeline relocation for this 400-foot bore and jack design, for a 24-inch casing and 16-inch, natural gas carrier pipeline under Interstate 5, in Valencia, CA.
This $4.0 million construction project included conceptual and detailed engineering and construction support.
Mechanical – Provided the plan, profile, and details for the pipeline relocation/replacement, performed substructure research, performed pipe stress analysis, and developed construction drawing package for permitting. Provided permitting support to the client.
Construction Support – Provided bore and jack calculations (jacking plate and shoring) to the construction contractor, California Auger Boring.
